From above, California's Central Valley is a smear of color over texture, with intersecting geometric and organic forms. For this series, inspiration came from satellite images taken at different times of day and various seasons. They show the flattened landscape transitioning, sometimes in the same cropping, with day and night, or winter and spring in the same composition.
